With 3.3 GGG introduced the unique jewel Combat Focus that allows blocking one or two of the elements for your hits. This means we are able to force Elemental Hit to do ONLY fire damage with its hits.

- Very easy to equip

- Looks very cool

- You only have to switch one single gem for hard bosses 

- True melee! (although it has an inbuild aoe mechanic)

 

Con

- Mana might be an issue in mid game

- You have to aim a little with your movement skill (no hit-one-button-blindly build)

- Not the safest build out there so probably not hardcore viable (though I died only a few times to my own mistakes)

2. [PoE 3.3] PWAR's Vaal Double Reave Slayer/Champion - Fast Clear Speed / Insane Boss Killer


 

First "legit" build which I made (sorta newcomer to the sport), like a league starter for incursion, and clearing is a breeze to date, so thought I share my build/concept for individuals wanting a wild offensive melee build, that is not a glass cannon requiring Incursion to obtain two million  dmg (against shaper).

 

Pro's

+Amazing Clear Speed

+Stupid Boss Killer

+Fast movement speed due to fast leap slam=faster mapping=more exp/items

+GREAT League Starter

+Budget friendly to be effective

+Decently high/fast Leech (Vaal Pact)

+Near or over 10 sec Vaal Skills duration

+Works from the get-go (lv 1)

+Phys reflect immunity

 

Con's

-Average life/defenses

-Uses basically all of your skill bar, need above 40 IQ to manage buttons

-Can't do ele reflect with shaper stat stick

 

Vaal Double Strike

The build incorporates the recently buffed Vaal Double Strike, that is essentially now likely to be auto-use in practically every melee build that may bleed. Why Earthquake?

4. [PoE 3.3] Blood Bringer - Bladefall Crit Trapper Saboteur


So, as whatever you know, 3.3 is definitely an update very centred on traps. It has been some time since I have performed my Bladefall trapper (to 2.x LUL) and that I desired to try it out. Not failing to remember to say "Tinkerskin", that will let us regenerate some HP and ES for each trap triggered. I'd recommend picking Soul of Lunaris as a major god to avoid projectiles and have some more damage reduction and movement speed.

5. [PoE 3.3] Avrai's Lightning Trap / Lightning Spire


 

It was but still is my league starter for Incursion because it switched out very well. At this time, I'd be playing different things, but new traps and reworks bare this going which brought me to create a little guide for this.

 

Ascendacy:

Perfect Crime -> Chain Reaction -> Pyromaniac -> Born in the Shadows

 

Hurrying Squence Of Events will work for levelling and accelerate the entire factor. Pyromaniac provides for us a pleasant slice of regen, ideal for doing trails for the uber lab. We crit a lot, we need mana to throw traps, and resistances are always welcome, best choice in my opinion.

 

Pantheon:

Major: Soul of Lunaris

- some physical reduction and movement speed

- more "%dodge" and "%avoid"

- not getting hit by chained projectiles

Sounds good to me. We try to evade as much as possible.

 

Minor: Soul of Ryslatha

- free life flask charges for hard times

- 60% increased life recovery from flasks on low life

Life flask is our only instant and large form of sustain, we cant leech, life regen isn't that high and Tinkerskin gives 200-400 per throw but that takes time.
